Privacy notice
Last updated 5 September 2026
This notice explains the information handled by the HR for I.T website, portal and desktop agent. A customer company decides which licensed features it uses, who may access its workspace and how its workforce information is used. HR for I.T processes that information to provide and support the service.
Information the service may handle
- Account and company details, including names, email addresses, roles, departments and company settings.
- Timekeeping records such as clock, break, idle, productive and attention periods.
- Configured activity signals such as applications, processes and supported browser URLs.
- Screenshots and activity video when those features are enabled by the company plan and policy.
- Agent registration, version, health, upload and diagnostic information.
- Billing and subscription references. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by this portal.
- Portal audit, security and support records.
Why information is used
Information is used to operate the requested timekeeping, reporting, workforce visibility, security, billing, support and agent-management features; to protect company workspaces; and to diagnose service faults. HR for I.T does not sell workforce information.
Access and sharing
Company information is available only to authorised users within the applicable company and department scope. Limited information may be processed by infrastructure, email, payment or support providers where required to deliver the service. A customer company remains responsible for giving its employees an appropriate workplace notice and for using monitoring features lawfully and transparently.
Retention and security
Activity logs and media follow the retention period configured for the company plan. Account, billing, audit and security records may be retained for operational, contractual and legal requirements. The portal uses role-based access, company and department boundaries, optional authenticator 2FA, encrypted transport and protected credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and similar technologies
We currently use only essential website cookies: to provide secure authentication, protect forms against forgery and remember acknowledgement of our cookie notice. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Both “Accept essential” and “Decline optional” dismiss the notice and retain essential security cookies. Neither choice permits optional tracking or employee monitoring.
- Sign-in: __Host-HrForIt.Auth (hrforit.auth in development) maintains your authenticated session. Authentication tickets expire after eight hours, renewed with qualifying activity. Temporary authentication cookies may also support sign-in and two-factor security flows.
- Form security: __Host-HrForIt.Antiforgery (hrforit.antiforgery in development) helps prevent forged form submissions. It is a session cookie; your browser's session restoration settings may retain session cookies.
- Notice acknowledgement: __Host-HrForIt.CookieNotice (hrforit.cookie-notice on HTTP development sites) stores only the notice version, not a personal identifier, for 180 days. It is set only when you select either notice button.
You can reopen the notice using the “Cookies” button. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or form submission. Deleting the acknowledgement cookie displays the notice again. Website fonts are hosted locally. Payment-provider pages have their own cookie and privacy notices.
If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, they will require a separate prior-consent choice, including an equally accessible rejection and withdrawal option. Acknowledging this notice does not authorise future optional cookies.
